Craftsmanship

Each Zeva piece is shaped by hand in our Jaipur atelier — a quiet rhythm of hammer, file and flame carried forward by artisan families for generations.

Rooted in Jaipur

Our karigars work from small bylanes around Amer Road, where Mughal-era jewellery techniques have been refined for over four centuries. We work with the same families season after season, paying fair wages and offering year-round commissions rather than piecework.

From sketch to finished piece

Every design begins as a hand drawing, then a wax model carved against an original reference.

Metal is cast in small batches, hand-filed, set, and polished — a single ring can pass through six pairs of hands before it reaches you.

Final quality checks are done in daylight, against a neutral cloth, by a senior artisan.

Why it takes longer

We do not mass-produce. Most pieces are made to order in 7–14 days. The wait is the work — it is what gives Zeva jewellery its quiet weight in the hand.
